OROnce the season is over and achieved its objective, the return to the Second Division, Albacete Balompié and Rubén de la Barrera kept up throughout yesterday a long meeting with the objective of analyze how the campaign had gone and assess the present and future situation of the team.
The meeting, chaired at all times by a cordial and constructive tone, concluded with the decision of both parties to understand that the most convenient thing would be to separate their paths and put an end to Rubén de la Barrera’s stage at Carlos Belmonte. A technician who, despite the success achieved, did not have the approval of the fans.

The former coach of the Manchego team has just published on his social networks a goodbye message in which, he assumes that giving up the remaining year of his contract was the best thing for both parties.
Likewise, he affirms that he leaves with the satisfaction of “duty fulfilled”, thanking all the staff their work to achieve the goal of promotion.
