The green-reds started attempts to transfer 32-year-old US guard Dee Bost, who became stars with the Galatasaray NEF jersey this season, and 27-year-old Kenan Sipahi, the former playmaker from Beşiktaş.
It was claimed that Karşıyaka, which determined the new year’s draft budget as 95 million TL, offered Dee Bost 425 thousand dollars and Kenan 5.5 million TL in the transfer market, where high numbers were returning before the season. The transfers are expected to be clarified in the coming days. Bost, who also has a Bulgarian passport, averaged 13.6 points, 7.1 assists, 4.9 rebounds in the league, and 13.7 points and 5.3 assists in the FIBA Basketball Champions League. Kenan, who previously played in Fenerbahçe, Real Betis, Real Zaragoza, served in Pınar Karşıyaka in 2015-2016.
